Yet another mikroamp question

Bet you're getting tired of these questions. I know I am. I want to try the transparency part, but I can't get it to work properly. It looks like the right most pixel of each row isn't being display or something. I checked it and I'm sure I'm not missing any part of it. I take the same gif and set the brightest to -255 to get the part I want displayed. What am I doing wrong?

I've had some strange behaviour with mikroamp transparency...

Me too, I tried to solve it by putting an extra line of pixels at the right hand of the top left pic, that sort of worked on one mikro, but another one was still buggy

The pains in my arse I've had from trying to make transparent Mikros are why I only make square, non-transparent ones now. If I remember correctly, it sometimes seemed like a row or a column of pixels was ignored somewhere in the middle of the skin, rather than at the edge.

If it matters a lot to you, you should maybe contact the guy who made Mikroamp and skinmaster.co.uk - there was some other bug in an earlier version of MikroAmp which he fixed, so maybe he'll fix this one.

... though he says MikroAmp is now bug-free and finished, so skinmaster.co.uk is now discontinued.

I wouldn't count on Mike fixing up MikroAMP bugs anytime soon, we had a mammoth multi page thread going in here about 18 months ago when the MikroAMP2.0 was being developed, transparancy bugs were brought up there and never resolved either.

Plus with the advent of WA3, I don't think Mike has much reason to update, everything it can do can be done by anyone in WA3 now, that's part of a conversation I remember having with him about it.

Learn to love your transparancy bugs

Love them? No way. I'll just try to live with them.

My smilie mikro skin (for the skinlovers pack) gave me nightmares.

Yeah, all you have to do is add an extra black pixel at the right edges. The only time it screws up then is that you can never have is work right if you want a pixel in the 32nd column transparent, but not a pixel in the 31st column. If you have any clue what I'm talking about.

That means rounded corners in the right side are forbidden... or you have to use a 32x31 frame.

Actually, 32x30 since you can't have anything in column 31 visible with anything next to it in column 32 invisible.

So, colum32=column31?

I love my bugs. They make me feel wanted and all warm (and itchy) downstairs.
