I need suggestions for eq bars

This is what i have so far of the eq bars, and i'm kind of lost on what to do with the eq bars. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm debating on whether or not to have the eq bars digital (like they are now), or surrounded by wood trim.

Hmm, maybe not surrounded, but the sides, I dunno, do you have a SS of the main and equmain stacked? The bars themselves I'd have to see with the main, though I'd think some sort of gradient or pattern instead of the solid blue would be more effective

I was thinking the same thing. Don't surround the bars with wood. Maybe make the bottom thicker so it matches the main. It's such a lovely rose wood pattern, show it off. I think (what's that place where the where lines go) is a little too big. I don't think it needs to overlap with the titlebar. But go digital definitely.

Try anything for the bars: dots, squares, or even a simple line. (Sorry can't help on bars. my weakness too.)

I retract my opinion on the wood pattern. As long as you're going to have it set up that way, the wood works. But what you need to do is make the bars seem like they are moving, like make some design on the pars move down as the bar itself goes up. I don't know if that makes sense, but...

I dont understand what u mean. Do u mean that there should be a kind of animation for the bars as they go up or down?

Yes, but I think it would look good if the animation moved in the opposite direction of the bars.

Do you think that i should have something that you can drag up and down for the equalizer bars? I don't want to mess around with the digital theme and place a sliding button on the bars.

This is what i've gotten so far. Does any one have a suggestion as to what should go in between the two lights in the window? The skin was supposed to be based on audi, but i don't like the way the symbol fits in that space. Any ideas?

Maybe an led version of the audi logo? Or a vertical text "Audi"? I wouldn't have a button per se, but (and this is just my opinion) some sort of digitalized display might be something to try, the rest is very smooth and nicely detailed with the lighting etc, and the led parts seem a bit plain in comparison, just some very very basic ideas I was thinking of (with or without the border) feel free to use or trash...

I thought about your designs dimichan, and i think that the plain look might work out better. I put in a blue tinted audi logo in:

that white line between the windows really stands out. maybe make it a more orangey/darker color so it doesn't catch the eye so much and steal attention? other than that, looks nice
