When I use my volume button, it changes both winamp and system volume
Wondering if someone could help me with a fix. I want the volume buttons on my keyboard to not change both the windows system volume and Winamp's internal volume. I just want it to change the windows volume.
This is the only gripe I have with winamp, foobar doesn't have this issue but it is the biggest piles of balls I have ever installed in my life so I'm stuck with Winamp. Any help would be appreciated ![]() |

Go to Options> Global Hotkeys and then uncheck "Enable default multimedia key support" and depending on if you use it or not, ensure there's no volume up / down commands in the list shown.
I asked the same thing sometime ago and DrO gave me the answer. |

Hi eldred,
Please don't post the same question in different sub-forums. Give people time to answer, if there is an answer. ![]() There are already several posts about this (use the forum's Search feature). Multimedia keyboard support just needs to be setup according to your needs as noted above, it is not a bug. Windows 10 Home 64-bit v20H2 desktop - Logitech Z906 5.1 speaker system |
