Total listener stats (daily/weekly/monthly)

Hi all,

I have been trawling the internet for a few hours now and haven't quite found what I wanted (without paying a lot for it!).

I am looking for a way to determine the total amount of tunein's (listeners) on a daily, weekly and more importantly monthly basis.

I don't need peak listeners, etc... Just the total amount of listeners that have tuned into the stream in each month.

Can someone kindly point me in the right direction of either a script that does work for this, or how I can get this from the server files.

Thank you very much in advance.

I'm totally agree with you.

Shoutcast is now a popular and professional tool and broadcasters deserves to had advanced stats with archives, for know witch show/songs work and witch doesn't.

I hope shoutcast team will make a feature like this in the near future.

everything needed to work out the stats is either in the server's log (if wanting to manually scrape the client data) or via the w3c log file or there's going the way of querying the DNAS for information periodically and tracking / working things out from that.

as for an official logging / reporting, people want so many different things it would just be a pain to implement something to display things in the manner which is wanted.

additionally this is why people use management software which will do the querying and collate the stats in a manner as wanted.
