Winamp Priorities

Hello, forum guys!

So, my computer isn't one of the best ones out there

1 GB RAM
1.6 Ghz Processor
512 MB VRAM

I like playing Need for Speed MW while listening to music, but the game is always freezing (blah blah...)
So I would like to change the Winamp priorities, this is what I did:
From the general preference tab, I changed the priority class to Idle
From the Playback tab. Playback Thread priority is set next to high (so that the music doesn't stop randomly)
Would this be the best set-up, so that the game has more resources for itself?
