Ok, I found the cause of the problem.
Its due to wrongly placed modded explorerframe.dll. The plugin is all well, problem is on my side ![]() Thanx |

Hi TheSaw,
I'm been using your plug-in for quite a while and it is the best way to control Winamp (other than hot keys), imo, when it is minimized or buried behind other windows. My issue is caused by Win 7's taskbar 'hot tracking' features and I was wondering if they can be disabled for individual taskbar icons or would have to be disabled for all. What I've been able to learn searching Google is that if anything can be done individually, it has to be on the code level. In particular, the color coded highlighting that Win 7 does, when Winamp is the active window, interferes with using the plug-in's 'progressbar to show player status' feature. Sometimes the overlay that Windows adds does not go away on its own when Winamp is not the active window. Even the static 'spotlight' effect overlay, for indicating running apps, can be distracting when using the progressbar feature. Another annoyance is the text box that pops up above the preview window with the track title in it. There is a short delay before it appears and it does not stay long, but it's ugly and redundant. Need some help
I was wondering if there was anyone still working on this nifty little plugin. I really like it and have been trying to get it to display a certain way. Normal Winamp "Advanced Title Formatting" strings do not seem to work. Was wondering if that was being worked on as another feature for it. It would be nice because I have some naming and title differences that I prefer over a normal formatting.
Let me know. |

the source is open (via a GPLv3 license) so there is nothing stopping someone fixing it.

that will never happen with this plug-in due to the code license it was released under (GPLv3) which does not match with what Winamp is able to use for including plug-ins and associated libraries.

If I knew how to code I would be working on it. So that leaves me out of the "someone" fixing it group.

Hi ElimGarak72,
Exactly what are you trying to do with this plug-in? I have been successfully using version 2.0 with Windows 10 for over 3 years. I have not tried using all of it's various options, but those I have tried work fine. My current versions of Winamp and Windows 10 are listed in my signature below.
