Add support for playlist creation compatible with Sansa Players

There is small problem when you create Playlists for Sansa m2xx.

They doesn't support playlists that code look like that:
code:

#EXTM3U
O:\AUDIBLE\Angel Note\Joshi Kousei GIRL'S HIGH Original Soundtrack - Girl's Life!!\22 - Dare mo Inai Gakkou.mp3
O:\AUDIBLE\Angel Note\Joshi Kousei GIRL'S HIGH Original Soundtrack - Girl's Life!!\36 - Shimai no Omoi.mp3
O:\AUDIBLE\Ashley MacIsaac\hi how are you today_\02 - Wing Stock (Kuchiki Rukia Favorite Song).mp3
O:\AUDIBLE\BEAT CRUSADERS\TONIGHT,TONIGHT,TONIGHT\04 - EVERYBODY HATES MY GUITAR SOUND.mp3
O:\AUDIBLE\BECK\Animation BECK OST 'BECK'\18 - by her (ENDLESS TRAVELING MAP).mp3
O:\AUDIBLE\Belle Ame\Animation BECK OST 'BECK'\06 - Lost Melody.mp3
O:\AUDIBLE\Chieko Kawabe\Elfen Lied & Otogizoushi ED Single - Be your girl & Hoshi ni negai wo (Chieko Kawabe)\02 - Hoshi ni negai wo.mp3

O:\AUDIBLE\Death and Rebirth Single\\-1 - Kokoro yo Genshi ni Modore.mp3
O:\AUDIBLE\Death_ Rebirth\\-1 - Dvorák _ Original Complete Ver.mp3
O:\AUDIBLE\Death_ Rebirth\\-1 - Itsuwari no, Saisei.mp3
O:\AUDIBLE\Disk 2\FINAL FANTASY VII ADVENT CHILDREN\05 - Encounter.mp3
O:\AUDIBLE\Dragon Ball - BGM\Dragonball & Dragonball Z (Disc 2)\01 - Makafushigi Adventure (TV Size).mp3
O:\AUDIBLE\Dragon Ball - BGM\Dragonball & Dragonball Z (Disc 2)\25 - In'nen No Taiketsu! Son Goku To Piccolo.mp3
O:\AUDIBLE\Edward Elric (Paku Romi)\HAGAREN SONG FILE - EDWARD ELRIC\02 - RETURNABLE MEMORIES.mp3
O:\AUDIBLE\Eguchi Takahito\Trinity Blood OST TB_music file\04 - TB_No.02_reminiscence.mp3
O:\AUDIBLE\Elsa\L'essentiel ELSA 1986~1993\03 - T'en va pas (Inoue Orihime Favorite Song).mp3
O:\AUDIBLE\Ending 01 - Akeboshi\-- ****** Endings --\01 - Wind.mp3
O:\AUDIBLE\Ending 09 - No Regret Life\-- ****** Endings --\09 - Nakushita Kotoba.mp3

O:\AUDIBLE\Evangelion\The End of Evangelion\-1 - Tanin no Kanshou.mp3
O:\AUDIBLE\FictionJunction KAORI\Tsubasa Chronicle Original Soundtrack - Future Soundscape I\09 - tsubasa.mp3
O:\AUDIBLE\Force of Nature _ Nujabes _ Fat Jon\Samurai Champloo Music Record Impression\07 - The Million Way Of Drum.mp3
O:\AUDIBLE\Force of Nature _ Nujabes _ Fat Jon\Samurai Champloo Music Record Impression\19 - Night Out.mp3
O:\AUDIBLE\Full Metal Panic Fumoffu OST\Full Metal Panic Fumoffu OST\11 - Sakusen Koudou.mp3

O:\AUDIBLE\Goto Yuko\The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi Character Song Vol.3 - Asahina Mikuru\01 - Mitsukete Happy Life.mp3

They only support playlists that look like that

code:
#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:201,Full Devil Jacket - Wanna Be Martyr
01 - Wanna Be Martyr - [hipis@freenet.de].mp3
#EXTINF:209,Full Devil Jacket - Fastblack
02 - Fastblack - [hipis@freenet.de].mp3
#EXTINF:254,Full Devil Jacket - Where Did You Go
03 - Where Did You Go - [hipis@freenet.de].mp3
#EXTINF:298,Full Devil Jacket - Mainline
04 - Mainline - [hipis@freenet.de].mp3
#EXTINF:212,Full Devil Jacket - Blue Green Day
05 - Blue Green Day - [hipis@freenet.de].mp3
#EXTINF:194,Full Devil Jacket - Stain
06 - Stain - [hipis@freenet.de].mp3
#EXTINF:260,Full Devil Jacket - Monster
07 - Monster - [hipis@freenet.de].mp3
#EXTINF:196,Full Devil Jacket - Love Song
08 - Love Song - [hipis@freenet.de].mp3
#EXTINF:225,Full Devil Jacket - Now You Know
09 - Now You Know - [hipis@freenet.de].mp3
#EXTINF:216,Full Devil Jacket - Mr. Wiggly
10 - Mr. Wiggly - [hipis@freenet.de].mp3
#EXTINF:272,Full Devil Jacket - Cardboard Believer
11 - Cardboard Believer - [hipis@freenet.de].mp3

It would be nice to have an option in drives properities option that when you check it it will create playlists only with mp3 name without whole path.

Hope you will like that idea and apply it to Winamp!!

Take care

Second that request, please. This is about the only feature I think is missing from W/A, having just bought a sandisk m240 player ;-)

Right now I have to use MP3Tag to create compatible playlists. A bit of a pain.

Sandisk doesn't care what the sub-directory structure of the files is. They have to be listed path-less in the playlist, just as if they were all in the same directory, even if they're scattered in several sub-folders.

You could just include a tick-box option to make playlists pathless, if that wouldn't be too much to ask.

Many thanks!

it's a feature request and not a bug since ml_pmp and it's plugins are only designed at the moment to generate absolute paths and not relative paths as is being requested in this instance... hence it's not a bug

i think generate playlist with absolute path is a bug i cant imagine an situation when playlist with abolute path needed.

to you it may be a bug but the code in the plugins is working exactly as it is coded to do ie absolute paths. hence why it is a feature request and not a bug report

Hehe... trully saying for me doesnt matter if its bug or future request, but Since its working like autor of plugin wished it cannot be a bug. The only problem is that autor of plugind didn't implement non-absolute-path creation. It would be bug if feature were created but not working and still creating absolute paths.

I only hope to see "Create non-absolute-paths" in device managment panel, or something similiar but with sam function

Maybe if it's not only sansa users got this problem this function will hopefully be created soon

Take care

@ DrO,

Agreeing that it's a feature request and not a bug, is there any prognosis on:

1) if it's a big deal to modify the existing plugin, and
2) possible timeframe?

Many thanks,

#1: no idea since i don't know how will has coded the plugin(s) seeing as i don't have source code access, etc

#2: no idea either, as and when it's done really. i know it's been logged and has been mentioned but since i don't know what the results of such discussions were your guess is as good as mine really. i'm sure something will be done to fix this but i really don't know when you'd expect to see anything
