Couple things I've hoped for in the winamp future versions...

In the album selector window in the middle, it is quite large... perhaps the scrolling list would be 1 line only... and when selected would increase to the current size listing album year, album art, tracks etc...

Also, perhaps one of the windows resized to include lyrics... a "best guess" search to default the song lyrics to... and if incorrect, a way to select or re-search for appropriate lyrics.

1. Huh? What Album Selector?

2> Try one of the MANY lyrics plugins:

Thanks, I will try one of those plugins...

The "album selector" Im calling it is in the center of my winamp screen, and it organizes all my albums allowing me to select one.. .when i select it, it pulls those xx number of tracks to the playlist and allows to play that album..

you don't have that? I just installed with default options here....

I wish an option to backup and import the bookmarks in Media Library i found nothing... no option and no bookmark... in my winamp folder.
So i can't restore after a new system install.

C:\documents and settings\YouName\application data\winamp

or for you in German:

C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\DeinName\Anwendungsdaten\Winamp

there is a file called "Winamp.bm", this file contains all your bookmarks.
