Despite all your posts / threads looks suspiciously spamming, I'll answer this one since I think I'm the only argentinian on this forum (at least the only regularly active..).. and... because:
I don't think so. |

6 hours and 11 minutes left until the semifinals
It promises to be an exiting match. I hope we'll win. We will see. May the best team win. Jesus loves you [yes, you] so much, he even died for you so that you will not need to die, but live forever |

Amazing! We are on the finals!!! VAMOS CARAJO!!! We deserved to win during the 90' and in the 120', so for once there was justice in Argentina and we won on the penalties!!!

I wish good luck for Argentina. I say it, also if I risk the loss of my next "friends" in Germany (I will count my "friends" in my friends-lists later)...

My predictions for the 2018 World Cup:
The finals will be played between Holland and Canada. For this game the field will be covered with ice and the Canadians will be on skates. A modified ball will be used to safeguard against Canadians de-inflating the ball everytime they kick it with their skates. This will be a very exiting game, as I will be cheering for both sides. ![]() |

I see some serious injury coming from the Canadian tackles against unprotected shins

Until 1992 I had lived in the apartment of my parents. If we had the football European championship or the football world cup, mostly the TV had been turned on, and also I myself had watched the football games very often, from the Seventies until the Nineties.
Mostly the beer and the champagne were standing in the room, if the people had watched the football games. If there was a football goal, the people had cheered loudly, nothing more, because they had celebrated more civilized. In the times of today very much illegal fat new year firecrackers are ignited during the championships and world cups, which is prohibited by law, but these bans are ignored. The explosions are not only very loud, they can be also very dangerous for people. I cannot understand, why football cannot be celebrated without these fat new year firecrackers (or without the brawling between rival fans in football stadiums) anymore. In the Eighties the football fans were able to celebrate also without these fat new year firecrackers, but after 2000 we heard them the first time during the big football games. I am not the only one, who doesn't like fat new year firecrackers (yesterday a radio moderator agreed with me in the radio chat). I was outside already today. I will stay at home tomorrow. I will not leave the house, because I have too many fears. I plan a leisurely day at my PC or with my notebook in the bed. All the best for tomorrow, whoever will win... Yesterday we got a thunderstrom, then I got a migraine and I went to bed very early. Later in the evening I heard the new year fireworks, until 4:00 PM. On the next morning the street has looked like on 1st January.
I wanted to take no influence on the final football game. I thought I'd let myself be surprised. On the next day I have read the video text. Germany has won the final game. But I say, also the second rank in the game is not bad. It is already a very good rank. At least Argentina came into the final game. Germany and Argentina have played very well, and only one of them can win. Maybe Argentina will win the FIFA world cup 2018. I hope that. The team of Argentina is a very good team, but also the many other teams from the other countries are very good. In 2018 we will let surprise us... Ahhh haha, you're on the same boat as Pieter (PJN123).. looks like teams are defined, coders go rugby, designers go football.. (¿?).

Soccer! Rugby!! Nice games. Real men play American football.

Thank You, Victhor.
I have a question, and I ask You all: Do You Yourselves also play football and not only watch it? For example Soccer, Rugby, American football or whatever kind of football?... ![]() Spring 1982 I was in the 9th class yet at the high school. Our school class had visited and watched a football game in the Olympia-Stadion. There were no bucket seats yet, and I liked more the broad steps of the stone stairs. When we wanted to return as whole class to the U-Bahn-Station in Berlin-Zehlendorf, we came into the scrum at the U-Bahn-Station Olympia-Stadion, and we had to return in little groups. The football game was part of the lesson plan. The boys had played a lot of football in the sport lessons. For the girls volleyball, handball and basketball were part of the lesson plan very often... And I do played a lot of football back in my teenager days (also played rugby for some time), after that I slowly stopped doing it. Now I only play tennis every weekend! And FIFA 14 of course! ![]() |

I play soccer with my 3-year old daughter. At least, then I can still win.
I'm just not good at it. Jesus loves you [yes, you] so much, he even died for you so that you will not need to die, but live forever |
