So about this forum & spam
Any chance we can have more active mods to clear out all the random spam? I feel like like I daily come to this site to report spam, and while i'm not criticizing mods around here, I feel like we could clean this place up more if we had more active mods doing whats needed w/o needing to have someone reporting first...

But then again Radionomy don't care about these forums and it seems they care even less about Winamp. |

Stop forum spam plugin for forums stops the malicious spam posts and spammers before they even get chance to post spam it works 99.8% of the time. That odd time its not a spammer known to the SFS database and you can setup and account with them to add spammers details.
Having moderators can eliminate the spam that little bit better but moderators aren't always able to get to a computer to remove stuff or even interested in helping a forum. (Do any of the old moderators even log on anymore? I see user names listed on the forums) Anything a website can do to stop spammers has to be a good thing surely? |

Because the one(s) responsible for assigning mods to forums also jumped ship.

You can't deny that sometimes it gets interesting (ironic usually) when spam bots participate.. XD
