Users Can't Connect To My Stream

ALot of my users are saying they can't connect to my stream.

Does it work ?

http://24.164.170.19:8000/listen.pls

http://radiokill.no-ip.info:8000/listen.pls

They are getting this error :

"it just keeps saying icy 200 ok or whatever it was and then says error synch to mpeg"

They never actually hear any music.

My shoutcast dns is working, I run my own server off a cable internet connection. I never had more than 2 people connect at a time.

If anyone could please help, it would be greatly appreciated. Users also can't connect via RealPLayer or Windows Media Player

HELP! HELP! HELP!

Here is part of my server log :

What is the Winamp/DSP combo input method?

1. Go to Winamp and enable the SHOUTcast DSP.
2. Click the "Input" tab
3. Look at the "Input Configuration", "Input Device" section
4. Is it set at "Winamp (Recommended)" or "Soundcard"

I noticed this:

<08/16/04@19:39:18> [main] introfile: C:\Documents and Settings\Derek\My Documents\RADIOKILL_PLAYLIST\radiokillpromo.wav

from the server config:

; IntroFile can specify a mp3 file that will be streamed to listeners right
; when they connect before they hear the live stream.
; Note that the intro file MUST be the same samplerate/channels as the
; live stream in order for this to work properly. Although bitrate CAN
; vary, you can use '%d' to specify the bitrate in the filename
; (i.e. C:\intro%d.mp3 would be C:\intro64.mp3 if you are casting at 64kbps).
; The default is no IntroFile
; IntroFile=c:\intro%d.mp3

first of all you specified a .wav... should be a .mp3 and since your casting at 24k it should be 'c:\path\blahblah\intro24.mp3

hope this helps

I don't want to start a new thread so I'll post here my situation. Just want to know if everything's okay with my radio. I would appreciate if someone could check the log

Event log:
<08/17/04@14:19:54> [SHOUTcast] DNAS/win32 v1.9.4 (Mar 17 2004) starting up...
<08/17/04@14:19:54> [main] loaded config from C:\Program Files\SHOUTcast\sc_serv.ini

<08/17/04@14:19:55> [source] listening for connection on port 8001
<08/17/04@14:19:55> [main] client main thread starting

here's what s being viewed when I click "connect" button:

<08/17/04@14:30:06> [source] connected from 127.0.0.1
<08/17/04@14:30:06> [source] icy-name:MW radio ; icy-genre:

<08/17/04@14:30:06> [source] icy-irc:#N/A ; icy-icq:0 ; icy-aim:N/A
<08/17/04@14:34:57> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com gave error (nak)
<08/17/04@14:34:57> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com gave extended error (please identify this station's genre (in the dsp plugin YP tab))

ok, so everything should work fine(despite of that error?), but here's my problem. I don't know if my adress should be http://127.0.0.1:8000/ or http://62.179.0.61:8000/ <-- my IP(I know, I'm hopeless)
Anyway, people cannot connect to my radio using the first, or the second option. Any help?

There's nothing there right now, but that should be your link. 127.0.0.1 or localhost is your *local* machine's IP.
