An other application is using port 8000 on your pc.
Are you sure you are only running one shoutcast instance on your pc?
If not, try to reboot it.

I have rebooted. Double checked the instances... only one running. There's nothing else on the server besides Shoutcast. It was reloaded with a new Operating System last week.

Then an other application is using the same port. If you didn't find the application, you have to use an alternative port for the SHOUTcast DNAS. Try a port like 9000.

Can you post the entire DNAS configuration file?

There is no source connected to the DNAS so any users that try to connect will be disconnected due to the server having no source. Use the DSP to provide a source, if you are trying be sure to update the portbase in the DSP since you have changed that.
