Fuck

OK, so I'm out grocery shopping today, something I don't normally do, because I don't normally have the house to myself for a month while the rest of the family is on the other side of the Earth...

Well, I'm at Target looking for something...I needed to get some sandwich buns, and Target carries sandwich buns...I figured that I was gonna get it at Kroger with the Ramen I was gonna get there, but I desided to get the buns at Target anyway since I was there, and it might even be cheaper with my Target member discount...The label on the shelf says $1.09, ok? I get ringed up, it comes out to $1.19 before discount, $1.07 after...Fucking what? I thought that my member card wasn't scanned, but I looked at the register and it said member discount was applied, and I even looked at the reciept to double-check myself...Well, fucking hell, actual price was $1.19, but whatever fuckjob member did the label didn't change it to the correct price (And I work at that Target too, but it doesn't surprise me that we've got dumbasses in employment)...OK, whatever, let's go to Kroger now...

I go to Kroger and desided to get a week's worth of Ramen, or a packet for 7 days...(And by the way, I swung by the bread area, and buns there are $1.08 with the Kroger plus card; I got it a cent cheaper at Target, but that was after discount, so WHAT THE FUCK, MAN!) I can have lunch every day on that stuff; It's amazing how you can feed yourself lunch for a week with a dollar with that cheap shit...Well, the normal list price the last time I bought Ramen at Kroger (Which was either the 5th, 6th, or 7th of this month) was 14-cents, and I could buy 7 packets for under a buck, or 98-cents to be exact...Not this time; Price is at 15-cents now, placing 7 packs at $1.05...UGH, whatever, fuck...So I'm just paying 7 extra cents anyway, it's still cheap, even if I have to add a nickle to this goddamn dollar...

And I desided that before I leave I would pick up some Take 5 candy bars (Which own face, by the way, and that's a fact) since they're 3 for $1 with a Kroger Plus card...Well, I get to self-checkout, I scan my 7 packets of Ramen, and watch my 98-cent budget inflate to $1.05 before my very eyes (Fuck, I was lucky to have exactly five pennies left on me for change)...And I scan my Take 5s, but something ain't right here, because instead of ringing up for 33-cents each, it's coming up as the regular 58-cent price...Don't fucking tell me some fuckjob didn't change the fucking labels to reflect the correct fucking price again! UGH! Well, if they're not going to be 3 for $1, I'm not gonna buy them, so I had to trouble the damn attendent and get him to void my 3 Take 5s (No Take 5 for you!)...

So to recap: Buns at Target were 10-cents more expensive than allegedly listed, my 98-cent a week lunch budget inflated to $1.05, and Take fucking 5s weren't fucking 3 for fucking $1 any fuckuing more even fucking though they were fucking tagged fucking so...

Fucking swear, can't set yourself a budget and expect to pay what you expect; It's gotta be like a fucking surprise birthday present when you check-out and it's not something to be happy about...And this isn't gas, this is food, fucker...

So what if it's a couple cents; I want my pennies back! I want my fucking pennies back! DIE! DIE! DIE!

Buy me something to eat, dammit...

So to recap:

You went to a Target and got screwed out of like $.04, and then got screwed out of like a dollar fifty at Krogers.

What's your address? I'll mail you a check.

21 Jump Street, address to a "Mr. Greico"...

I get irritable over the littlist of shit for no reason sometimes, and then after I'm pissed off, I've got this stoner "so fuckin' what" mindset...I'm all good now...

...but I'll tell you what; $2.06 for a bag of chips and no coins but a $10 to break leaves you with a fist full of change...Fuck, I wish I could use my debit card with my discount...

I collect my change in a tupperware container. After like 2 months I take it to the bank where they give me crisp bills for my change.

I get to keep the tupperware container.

And the cycle starts anew!

I used to take my change up to the Coinstar stations at Kroger to turn my change into paper money (And get back more change, if it doesn't come out to an equal amount)...

The only thing about that is that the Coinstar takes under a penny for each dollar's worth of change you put in...

Damn Socialists, those people at Kroger are...

Banks are better--there's probably one somewhere around you that has a coin machine (they don't charge you).

I roll my own. Coins, that is.

I have a small 3-drawer plastic organizer thing that I put my change in. Every day when I get home from work, I separate my change. Nickels go in the top drawer, dimes in the second, and quarters in the bottom. Pennies go into a big 5-gal water jug that came off a cooler. Every few months, I roll the coins, count them, then take them to the bank and deposit them into my checking account. One time I took over $350 worth of coins to the bank. o_o The last time I did it (about a month ago), I had $118 worth of silver change to deposit.

Meh, if it's anything other than quarters, they go into a change bowl then on to the change-to-cash machine every few months.

usually a store will honor the price that is advertised regardless of whether that is the price in the system. You should have said something if it really bothered you.

On the way to get groceries, I almost got ran off the road by some dumbass who didn't know how to drive; That would've really bothered me, and a couple cents more for pay wouldn't have seemed like much to bitch about (Even though I did it anyway)...

furthermore, i know quite a few stores here who will give you your item free if it's not marked correctly, i often go in there looking for old tags.

I hate everyone, so you don't have to.

In a "signing issue" the customer by law must get the advertised price.

LOL, WTF?
Who goes to stores to look for incorrectly marked price tags to get free stuff? The employees don't recognize you?
