Albums from the same year are sorted alphabetically

Is there any way to change that?
For Example: The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper is from 1967. Magical Mystery Tour is also from 1967 but was released after Sgt. Pepper. But it always appears before Sgt. Pepper in the Media Library because it starts with "M".
What I already did was putting the exact release date into the Year tag (1967-06-01 for Sgt. Pepper and 1967-11-27 for Magical Mystery Tour) but still they aren't sorted right.

The date tag only uses the year. So, I guess the answer is no.

Fill in the year with 19670601 and 19671127 because the library field only supports numbers.
