Recently Played Not Always Catching

So I have History enabled and there are no tracking control restrictions.
I have Recently Played enabled with no tracking control restrictions.

When I go to History in my Media Library, everything is fine. All plays are listed there. But when I go to Recently Played or just sort by Recently Played in Audio or Local Library... days or weeks of plays are randomly missing. Is this a known thing? Is there a setting I'm not seeing?

Are you using a skin that lets you close the media library window/panel?

I've noticed that when a session is started with the media library window/panel closed, the recently played tracking does not work. If the media library window/panel is opened during playback of at least 1 song then the recently played tracking starts working. The media library window/panel can then be closed again and the recently played tracking keeps working for the remainder of the session.

Unless the new owners hire someone to work on Winamp, this bug will probably not be fixed.

There is a bit of variance in regards to luck - but it's very low compared to the variance in regards to skill. A player who knows how to throw well will almost certainly get the better result even after only a handful of raids compared to the player who doesn't know how to throw well.LG C7
