I heard on the news that mount st. Helens is (probably) going to erupt again... And this time It's going to be a big one. I quote:

"Experts say that this eruption is probably going to be as big or bigger than the 1980 eruption."

The erruption will NOT be bigger than the 1980 erruption. I know that for a fact. Who ever said that is whacking off to implausible catastrophes.

The reason that an eruption from St Helens now won't be as big as 1980 is that the mountain doesn't have the same mass as it did previously. The '80 explosion did manage to blow off most of the top, melt all the glaciers, and destroy the surrounding forest.

Which brings us to the question: where were you in 1980?

I am so important I feel the need to let it be known like a liberal discovering the internets for the first time. Uh hur hur hur. I also wash myself with a rag on a stick.

In 1980 I was attending 8th grade, working in a planetarium and observatory and listening to the latest releases by Pink Floyd, Rush and The Clash over the planetarium's 8000 watt, 26 speaker audio system in the off-hours.

@White Raven: Congrats again on your birthday. You're getting more beautiful every day.

And did you know I'm also legal in Rhode Island too? 12 over there, so I been legal for four years. Then again... I just found out they lowered our age of consent to age 12 too, so... Hey.

Haha.
