help!!!

I just reinstalled over the weekend and had to download winamp again. The problem I am having now is that whenever I put a cd in, winamp automaticlly signs on to the internet to try and retrieve information for the cd. It never used to do that I could just hit abort and things would be fine, how can I correct this problem?

CTRL+P to bring up the preferences box....
Select the INPUT tab
Highlight the Nullsoft cd/linein plug-in (CDDB2) V2.0 (in_cdda.dll)
Hit CONFIGURE
Uncheck the USE CDDB box
Hit OK
Hit Close

Orrrrrrrrr

CTRL+P For preferences
Click SETUP
Check the "No Internet connection available" section in internet settings
Hit CLOSE
