Unable to register stream

I have restarted Shoutcast ( v2.6.0.753/win64 ) yesterday.

My stream URL did not register yet.

I still see the error in the log:

2020-03-16 08:26:22 WARN response for was too large, ignoring for now
2020-03-16 08:26:22 ERROR [METRICS sid=1] Request failed on YP with Failed writing body (0 != 5587)

Any idea ?

Just restart the stream from time to time. The error is more often.

Not seen that error in my logs I keep getting the "503 YP Down for Maintenance" errors in my log. Re starting the stream doesn't help there.

Proud USER of RadioDJ since 2010

Now running RadioDJ on a 32GB Computer

If you don't need monetization, just go to Icecast. You get everything you have to pay for at SHOUTcast for free.

I really felt until the end I believed in SHOUTcast. Only slowly it is enough.

I also have the feeling that it's the end of Shoutcast ...

I have purchased a Premium subscription a few weeks ago.

Several tickets open with Shoucast Support ( before the Covid-19 crisis ) ... and NO ANSWER AT ALL since days !

This is not serious , NOT PROFESSIONAL at all !

I've had the same mistake for days.

Result: Premium cancelled and alternatives searched. Done. SHOUTcast is not the only provider on the market and they have to realize that.

I don't know what you need the stream for. Otherwise just cancel your premium account and go to the competitor Icecast as an example.

Looks to me you don't understand a single thing about software run systems.

It makes no sense that there is a fault from 16/03/2020 and there is no answer to the support, and you expect that we will not respond, there are customers who pay money to your company and there is no response on your part and the fault is a solution to the fault ...

again the lack of communication is an issue that shoutcast support should look into
but if you don't understand how software systems work and you expect a one hour solution, you should look elsewhere.

Simply SHOUTCAST doesn't respond to support emails for over a week ..
I realize there is a glitch and it is wrong that is what I know. Another solution to the problem

You know at least answer the email and say that there is a problem and even if no other support exists there is no such thing.

You wouldn't need support if SHOUTcast would just fix their YP. It's a fact. Most problems are simply server problems of SHOUTcast like the YP or the SHOUTcast for Business Server.

My inquiries consist ONLY of problems that are related to the YP.
