Tell me one good reason to keep staying on the shoutcast platforms. Almost 24 hours later...



Listing Status: Stream is currently up but is waiting on a Directory response.

Bad service from shoutcast! This is happening frequently! Please fix it asap.

A fix has now been deployed for the "<url> malformed" error.
Please restart your DNAS.

Should now be fixed.

Note that the queue will be pretty large at the moment, so just restart the stream and leave it to keep trying registration.

Normally, it would happen within a minute, but could take longer under the current circumstances.

Can you confirm that the "<url> malformed" error is gone?

After one more restart the morning , the error is no more present in the logs .

2020-03-24 08:03:53 INFO [YP sid=1] Stream #1 has been updated on the Shoutcast Directory.

Nervertheless the stream does not appear in the directory or in the Manager

Send an email to support @ shoutcast.com
or bump an existing ticket, if one exists.

Include RadioManager email address, exact station name (as registered in RadioManager), working public stream url, confirmation you are using the authhash from the RadioManager, confirmation you restarted the DNAS but the problem persists even after 1 or more hours later.

DNAS admin pwd might also prove helpful (though not essential, and understandable if you don't want to give us it - though you can always change it later), and/or zip up latest server log.
