File doesn't play.

I just downloaded a torrent file and got some books. The files all say they are Winamp files, yet they won't play in Winamp. So I can't listen to these. Is there something I have to do to these files. Is there a way to reformat them? I'd really like to hear these files, yet I can't the way they are. What do I need to do?

Please attach your "List of Plugins"

And tell us what's the file extension and format of these files.

If you can't see the 3 letter file extension at the end (e.g. *.mp3 or *.m4a or *.wma, etc etc), then go to: Windows Control Panel -> Folder Options -> View tab, and uncheck "Hide extensions for known filetypes".

Once we've got that information, then we should be able to help you further...
