Winamp Auto-Tagger

Well, I've been using the Auto Tag function of winamp quite a time now and I have to say, it's the best one I've ever seen. Now I tried Musicbrainz, Jaikoz and mp3tag but none of these could find that much and that easy the tags i'm looking for like winamp does.
So now, because of the end of Winamp i'm looking for an alternative to this function and i hope you could tell me some usefull applications.
Also interesting would be how Winamp's Auto-Tagger works, i.g. which databases are used , does it use audio analysis, or how does it find information that precise.

winamp uses sony's gracenote. dbpoweramp has a function that lets multiple sources of tags be merged.
