I got a digital camera!

And boy does it kick ass! It is really sweet. I love it!

So my question is, what is your favorite computer hardware other than like a tower, mouse, key board, or monitor?

I'd have to say my geforce 2 mx. It's not like I'm cheap, but I bought it when geforce 3 or geforce 2 mx 400 wasn't out yet. And I paid 150 for it. Now, I can see the same card on ebay for 60 bucks. But I'm still happy with my video card, it's still nice.

My 56k modem. It's the only thing that Compaq didn't put in the machine, and it's the only thing that works right :-/

I would have to say my favorite "toy" for the computer is my cd burner. I really like my digital camera and webcam. They help me keep in touch with my family, and they get to see pictures of all of us.

Have a great day!

heh i was thinking of getting a g-force mx400, then i read (several sources) it got the same framerate as the mx200 on several games, and sometimes actually less.

sheesh... trickery

my fave piece of silicon would be the webcam where i dance nekkid for for a split profit from a shady pornlord webmaster.

My favorite piece of hardware is my new cd burner. It burns at 24X, reads at 40X and rewrites at 10X. Oh man is it great. Its a TDK velocd and it is impossible to screw up a cd with it (unless your computer is crappy). Its got some sort of burn-proof that enables it to do so. My favorite feature of it is it has got the CD-Text so for audio cd's you can write the names of songs, artist and album and it will display on cd players and car stereos that have that function.

Oh yeah, and it burns a full CD at around 3 minutes.

God, I love my TDK veloCD (pronounced "Velocity") 16/10/40x drive. It is not as fast as the one above (which I am going to buy for MY computer that I will build). The Burn-Proof Technology with the Buffer Underrun protection is awesome, however, my version of the veloCD drive has 4 MB buffer (a special tech version) while the other versions only have 2 MB. How Saweeeeeet!

Micro cameras, the types of which you can only get at certain stores. Without them, this wouldn't be very easy to do.
