Which movie for kids ?

Hello.

I would like to bring my girlfriend and her daughter (who is 7 years old) with me to the theatre but I wonder which movie to watch between :

- Happy Feet
- Flushed Away

Both look ok but I would like the little girl to be pleased.
Maybe should I wait for the release of "Arthur And The Invisibles" ?

Has someone watched them ?

I can't make a comparison, as I haven't seen Flushed Away, but I did see Happy Feet. I found it somewhat dull, so I can't imagine a young child being able to put up with the whole film. Maybe when it's on DVD you could rent it, as "dancing penguins" is the sort of movie that's more fun to look at than to actually watch.

Who is the milkman? What is the purpose of the goggles?

Haven't seen either, so no comment from me , however Wizard of Oz has been re-released into the cinemas, can't fail with that, I'm off (to see the wizard) tonight in fact!

I finally saw "Flushed away" and it wasn't as good as I imagined (but the kids are less critical, the little girl I went with appreciated the movie).

I don't know why, maybe it's just me, but I think the recent 3D movies are less funny than the first ones (like Shrek 1, Toy Story).

I saw "Cars" too and technically it was awesome but for the funny part... well, it's wasn't that good. Same for the Incredibles.

Flushed away is still a nice movie (especially the "singing slugs"..). Too bad there are still jokes about the (unfriendly) french. I thought these jokes were "has been" but "movie-writers" maybe don't think so.

I hope the next Pixar movie, Ratatouille, will be good (without these jokes too).

CG movies' jokes are really starting to stink, That's what happens when a bunch of nerds who have a bunch of money try to make a movie, but then there isn't an excuse for Disney. hmm,

mickey mouse is a... wait no. minnie likes... no. hmm

I saw Happy Feet!!! I think it's wonderful! It'll teach kids about some of our feathered friends, and tolerance and ecology! All good! Great animation, great tunes...

I think by now you must have watched some movie. If you want to show your girl some more sweet movies than try Despicable Me, for kids like to watch animation movies.

Yeah they will most likely prove to be heart stopping thrillers for the 7(by now 10) year old kid. I also like them.
