I install Dnas shoutcast it is working fine but I receve Listing Status: Stream is currently up but is waiting on a Directory response.
what is wrong/

The YP connection für 2.6 servers is currently not working. You have to wait a bit until this problem is solved.

Hi all,
same thing here and i even get "Please register your authhash".
Means that i won't make money with my station.
The 2.6 is not ready yet i'll keep my 2.5 for now.

2.6 works with the directory now. Ads though don't seem to work currently.

Not working on 2.6 for me.

Went to 2.5 and now the box to enter the authhash doesnt allo for all the characters of the authhash to be entered....veeeery frustrating

Same here, unfortunately not working on our existing 2.5 server.
Tried 2.6 but that gives even more strange directory errors (0, -4882837)

Tested and not approved at all. Same issues and worse the ads don't play.

And of course the support doesn't answer, the payment department as well i'm pretty upset.

Another bug when you create a station you don't get its link (listen.shoutcast.com) you just get an email . and find the link yourself.

I’ve given up on them. I switched to Icecast. I got a back up Shoutcast 2.6 stream and it goes from waiting on directory response to up and public every few hours. Couple that with ads not working as it should and no AAC support unless I pay. Icecast is my primary for now. Shoutcast is joking around.

They wanted to make it better, ok that's a good thing but they released the new version and it is a total mess and they want us to pay for that !
Why they didn't make tests before for a needed time, months, a year ?

They drive me up the wall with that and above all they don't reply anymore to the emails we send !

Yep exactly. I’d have to find a host that hasn’t upgraded to 2.6 yet. Even so, I won’t be able register the hash on 2.5. So really no choice. And yea making us pay for AAC on 2.6. I found out when I was trying to connect and it kept disconnecting. Check the logs and it says it needs to be paid. Either way, I agree with what you said too. It sucks. And payments were always late.

Do you still have the bug? I have just downloaded SHOUTcast again and get the error.
