Video window doesn't pop up

I've always had this problem but lately it has really started to annoy me.

The problem is simple. I have the 'Display video window when playback begins' and 'Close video window after playback ends' options enabled. That's because I have both videos and audiofiles in my playlist and I want the videos to popup in a little window in the corner of the screen, but everytime Winamp plays two videos in a row, it closes the video window but it doesn't display it again (just plays the audio track) and I have to open it manually.

At first I thought it was just my problem but I've tested it on several machines and it does it everytime. It's not a big thing but it's starting to get on my nerves
