Please place it right section. Plug-in confusion.

Okay, so I downloaded this plug-in for Yahoo! messenger, and it works great and all, but after so many songs.. it quits working, and freezes my Yahoo! status. Meaning I can change it, but it won't show... any ideas? The plugin name is in the blue.

Sorry it took so long for someone to reply, and unfortunately I won't be a huge amount of help, but all I can offer is this:

The problem with most plug-ins is that they are 3rd-party, meaning the people at Winamp aren't authors or experts on them. Generally the best advice that anyone here can give is this (yes, another colon leading to another paragraph...):

Try to find out who the author/creator/developer of the plug-in is, and better yet, try to contact him/her. That person is most likely the best person to help solve issues like the one you posted.

[even less helpful rant]

Personally I don't know much about the yahoo plugins, especially since I pretty much divorced myself of yahoo and their annoying and borderline malware marketing tactics (e.g. trying to change default search engines to Y! without asking permission, trying to add Y! toolbars to browsers by hiding the fine print in extremely verbose EULAs of unrelated programs, reinstalling deleted/uninstalled software without asking permission, etc.). I realize these are acts of desperation in an effort to compete with giants like google, but this kind of shit is just adding nails to their own coffin. So in my humble opinion, it's nice to see Y! die a long and painful death.

Don't forget to live before you die.
