Eragon - I went into the bedroom and beat myself with a leather riding crop for watching this...this.....crap.
The dragon wasn't even a pimple on the ass of Draco from Dragonheart or the badasses that were in Reign of Fire. John Malkovich, as the evil king ruler was only in it for what? 5 minutes tops?
I was totally expecting a duel between his dragon and Eragon's dragon but pfft, maybe they're Eragon-t enough to be thinking sequel.
I'll take a crap later and dub it Era-gone down the pipes and into the sewers just like this turd of a movie.

I watched this Indian movie the other night called Attahasam. It was decent. It was about this married couple who have a younger man, a lifetime friend of the woman, who she had babysat when he was a child, anyway the younger man kidnaps the woman, and takes her to a house outside of town and holds her hostage, thinking he was robbed of the chance to marry her.

Meanwhile the neighbors are saying that his wife "eloped" with the younger man, and the husbands family initially believes this, and it is up to the husband to find her and restore their honor.... etc..

Pretty decent movie, a little cheesey here and there, but some nice romance and action scenes. And of course stars a very hot Indian girl :P !!

RV or something like that with Robin Williams...

It was the reward movie for my students (they chose it).

Lake House

The movie sucks. Don't even read the text on the cover when looking to rent. It sucks that bad.

Devil Wears Prada

Doesn't suck as much - not my style of movie at all, but at least it was amusing enough to occasionally glance at it while typing up case notes.

Zoom Academy of Superheroes

Tim Allen is back as the has-been superhero 'Zoom'. He is convinced to train a team of kids to become what was his old team of super do-gooders back in the day, who's biggest failure was Zoom's own brother 'Concussion' who turned evil from the gamma 13 radation used by the goverment. Courtney Cox is the professor who had a crush on Zoom, but finds he is a bitter reflection of what she hoped he would be. This is a good movie for the kids and is even half decent for the adults to watch. I say rent it.

Rating: 3.5 Stars

The Departed - Directed by Martin Scorsese

IMDB Link

Not a 'family movie' but a great action flick and a top-knotch cops and robbers movie. Swearing galore, violence, and drugs, so be forewarned.

Billy Costigan (Leonardo Decaprio) is a determined young cop who meets up with Detective Dignam (Mark Wahlberg) and Ellerby (Alec Baldwin) and is convinced to go under cover to penetrate the Irish Mafia led by Frank Costello (Jack Nicholson). Costello also has a mole on the inside of Massachusetts State Police, Colin Sullivan (Matt Damon) who is quickly rising to a position of the Special Investigations Unit (SIU). The twists and turns and double-crossing send you reeling for hours as you watch the lives of the undercover cops on opposing sides of the law, continue to hit and miss while trying to discover each other's indentities. Definately a good action movie.

Rating = 4.5 Stars

Rain Man

I don't care if Cruise is a total asshole that needs to be raped by a llama. It's still a good movie.

Last night I watched Braveheart.

Today I took my dad to see 300. He really liked it but still complained that it was too loud. He's an old fart though, wanted to take some ear plugs but I wouldn't let him. Anyway, great fucking movie. To anyone who has yet to see it I envy you with your virgin eyes.

Spiral out, my friend. You will find your way back to yourself, we all will.
I'll be waiting, and shall see you on the other side...
