I ripped songs from a cd-r using Windows media player and now the playlist wont display the song title. it says "unknown artist-track 2". And when i go to change it through "file info" it wont let me. they are .wma files. I tryed to turn it off read-only but it was already off. so if anybody has any ideas please tell me.

WMA is Microsoft's so-called secure format.
You can't change the info as you do in a mp3. |

Tagging WMA's
Actually, there is one way I know of to tag a WMA file. Unfotunately, it involves using winamp's most pathetic and terrible competitor - Musicmatch Jukebox.
Although MMJB is extremely slow, you can tag both Mp3's and WMA's with it. I personally use it for the tagging of all my files, because it allows you much more features that standard Id3v1 and Id3v2, such as embedding an image, while still showing the tags perfectly on players such as winamp and windows media player. |

I didn't know about that because
1) I don't use WMA ![]() 2) I don't use Musicmatch ![]() |
