SHOUTcast app not on the App Store

I am looking for SHOUTcast on the App Store, but I cannot find it. I tried looking under More by AOL Inc, but it wasn't there either. I still have the app, but I just wanted to see if it was there or not.

From what I heard, it disappeared at the end of November.

I can still listen to it, but I can't reinstall it again.

it was purposefully removed as part of the general process of shutting down Winamp and some related aspects (which included the iOS SHOUTcast app). now that there is a new owner of Winamp and SHOUTcast, you'll have to wait and see what they decide to do with the app and in the meanwhile, if you're relying on it, ensure you don't uninstall it from your device.

ShoutCast IOS APP

Hello,
the best way is to backup (including apps) your device so apps will be available in your iTunes.
Thereafter when you need to install the app on other devices you only have to install it from iTunes.
I followed this procedure to install the app on my iPhone5 from an old iPad2.

SHOUTcast was removed from App Stoes as a part of shutting down the complete access to the app however if you really need it the app is still available on third party app stores like Tutuapp that generally fetch data from Google Play and list (and thankfully never removes them).

Oh and thank me later

Send a message via AIM to dopelabs
also keep in mind, there is nothing stopping you from...

step 1: open safari and go to shoutcast.com

step 2: choose a genre

step 3: and a sub-genre

step 4: click the download icon and choose pls or m3u

step 5: stream will start playing, and will background if you press the home button.

step 6: of your too lazy to do that every time, click share, add to home screen. then its just a single tap to tune in.

There is an alternative way to get the app

SHOUTcast was removed from App Stoes as a part of shutting down the complete access to the app however if you really need it the app is still available on third party app stores like Vshare app that generally fetch data from Google Play and list (and thankfully never removes them).

Oh and thank me later
