v5.35 - refusal to play m4a files

Winamp won't play a group of m4a files at all. It's around 20MB. I can view the tags though. Quicktime plays fine. This hasn't happened before.

The file can be found here:

Anyone know why winamp won't play the file at all?

Apple Lossless. The decoder is a part of Winamp Essentials (and you can grab 5.36 Beta while at it)

oh. How did you figure that it was Apple Lossless? Will Winamp 5.36 will include a codec for Apple Lossless so I don't have to download the Winamp Essentials plugin?

I opened it and played it, and it was Apple Lossless. Besides, it was big, a good clue.

But due to legal BS, I doubt it will ever be included natively. Apple doesn't play well with others.
