error with pldir.mi

in my skin i have included frisbeemonkeys pre made maki script, main.maki which at the beginning includes std.mi and pldir.mi

1. what is the function of this pldir.mi file?

2. when i include this script to my normal player window, it worked fine and still works fine. but when i include it in my shade window(2nd container) i get an error message saying the file, pldir.mi is not found even though i never had it.

3. where can i get this pldir.mi file?????

another problem

while writing the .m file,
Group xyz=getScriptGroup();
abc=xyz.findObject("mno");

this will find object "mno" in the group where the script has been called.

Q: How do i find an object in another group??
is there something called getGroup("anothergroup");???

Example:

PHP Code:
Global Container main;
Global
Layout normal;
Global
Text ticker;

System.onScriptLoaded() {
main system.getContainer("main");
normal main.getLayout("normal");
ticker normal.getObject("timer");

And btw, I don't exactly know what PlDir.showCurrentlyPlayingEntry(); does, but I think in winamp 5 (main.m is from the winamp 3 age) you can find such functions in std.mi.
Try these:
System.getPlayItemString();
System.getPlayItemDisplayTitle();
System.getPlayItemMetaDataString(String metadataname); (metadataname can be "title" or "album" etc., you can find more here: http://docs.wasabidev.org/wasabi_dev...d_metadata.php)

or maybe System.getPlaylistIndex(); (this shows the number that the song has in your playlist)

Maybe you can use it.
