Standardframe Error

i have just done the standardframe for my first skin and the Playlist and Video windows are working well, but if i want to open the media libary or visualization there comes an error:

Script Failure. Press left mouse button to continue.
Guru Meditation #001C.0004018D.30 Null object called
scripts/standartframe.maki

i dont even know how to open or edit a maki file and the standardframe.maki is the only one i use

would be very happy if someone could help me

Null object called means the script calls for something that is not there. So, you must have deleted something in your standardframe.xml and therefore the script can't find it.
This is not a problem if you edit the script.

If you really have no experience with maki scripts, you should check out: http://www.winamp.com/nsdn/winamp/sk...ern/scripting/

There basics are explained. For the rest, learn from others' code (don't copy it) by looking how somebody did something. If you get stuck, post in the forums. Be sure to check for typo's yourself first though.

The .maki file was generated from a .m file. You HAVE to edit the m file and recompile it into a maki file, or, figure out what it is you wiped out that's causing the error.

Okay, I don't know if you made a typo in your post, but you typed "standartframe.maki", and if you're calling it as standardframe.maki, than it won't work.

If you need to re-compile the standardframe.maki, Go here: http://bluemars.planet-d.net/sdk/maki/
and get all the files. Put them in your Winamp/Lib directory. Also, make sure mc.exe is in your Winamp directory. Read the instructions in the attached zip to compile an .m file to a .maki file. You should be able to just right click the standardframe.m and choose Winamp_M_Compile to do it. Hope this helps.

More to the point, why are you even including standardframe.maki with your skin ?, why are you not inheriting the default standardframe.maki that comes packaged with the freeform plugin?
'inherit_content="scripts"'

Or are you re-tooling standardframe.maki to do something different than the default settings?

I'm with Jones here, I don't understand, especially if it's your first skin. I wouldn't go messing with the standardframe if it was my first time. You're really looking to bust your cherry good aren't you?

Maybe you could try this thread. In particular, make sure you have this group defined:

<groupdef id="wasabi.standardframe.nostatusbar">

But then again, you say your video window works, so I have no idea. Sorry.
