winamp & auction player/ebay

I'm a keen Ebayer who buys vinyl records. I like to try before I buy. Ive recently noticed a problem with using Winamp to listen to soundclips uploaded via "Auction Player". Its not been a problem until recent weeks. I dont like using the actual Auction Player itself as its a poor substitute for Winamp and you can't use it in Firefox. Firefox indicates a download but Winamp doesnt seem to access the stream properly. An error code appears briefly but too fleetingly to note. Im using WInamp 5.2, its enabled on zone alarm, there is no other firewall, and its my default software. Other methods of listening work fine but so many people use Auction Player, its really annoying. Ive reported it as a possible fault to ebay but I dont think they have a clue what the problem is and have only muttered about clearing caches and cookies.

Anyone else experiencing this problem?
