Another Gnutella client, but...........

It's called Shareaza and from what I've experienced using it the past couple of days, I would recommend trying it. It's spyware-free and has a nice interface. It has a few minor bugs still (mainly in the "search" feature), but I still think it's worth a look. It comes pretty close to Gnucleus IMHO.

[Disclaimer] I am only sharing the news about a new program I stumbled upon. I have no connection to the designers of this program. This in no way should be considered "spam". [/Disclaimer]

Is this just another Gnucleus clone (Gnucleus is open source), or did they make this program theirselves?

It seems no one is interested in trying this program out? I'd like to get some more feedback on it, because I've downloaded over 20 mp3's using it and they ALL had synch errors. What are the odds of that happening? I wish some other folks would try it and see if they have the same problem.

I've tried it. does exactly the same as Gnucleus(it also looks very much alike... hint hint); I see no reason to use it. No sync errors for me, though.

i have been for awhile. it's been frequently updated and finally ultrapeers connect fast now.

i like everything about it except it for being on gnutella and the ui. i don't like millions of windows, and its ugly icons.

my mp3s sound fine from there, but i still get the occasional crap which is typical from big networks.

blubster released v2.0 beta when it was supposed to be a full release. still decent, a couple bugs like forgetting the download folder and multisource needs to hold sources better. it drops them fast like on winmx.

i forgot to mention it uses those sha1 hash codes. www.bitzi.com
i put a couple there for sh!ts and giggles. i'll do more later.
it's not a gnucleus clone either.

Wanted to bump this to announce 1.4.0 that's been released.
http://www.shareaza.com/

if you have an older version you can update safely through gnutella.
gnutella://sha1:HRZUC6WNNM3EVKR5PVM4LWE7FXWN3WQN/Shareaza1400.exe/

might i add that the upload bug has been fixed, many users reported very infrequent uploaders compared to other clients.
