new pc remote control to control winamp

Two years ago I did a school project which allowed control of winamp via any IR remote control. Five years ago somoeone in Spain did the same. We merged our software and the result is the least expensive device which will control winamp via most househould IR remote controls. If you use this coupon you'll get $3.00 off: "hotdeals", check it out or reply with any comments, they are appreciated.

I don't think it's spam

Is it still SPAM if there's a live person sitting in front of a computer monitoring the replies? I'm not trying to be a smart ass, I'm just curious about online ediquet.

It kinda is when you post it in several forums. There is no need for crossposting. It'll get noticed in just one forum.

your right

yeah, I guess any advirtising is spam.

I didnt' know what cross posting meanw either, I did post it in two forums so it did crosspost.

do you guys know of any other sites where alot of winamp users goto.
I'm thinking about advirtising on some techo and trance site which have alot of winamp users. I hear if you host a few GB of songs for the site they give you some adviretising space in return.

I believe the RIAA does that.

But seriously, this forum is the place that probably has the most Winamp users. Save your time though, don't advertise here, we don't appreciate it. I'm sure most other forums wouldn't either.
