Can't get that program to work. I made a folder in C Drive named Dumps but when I type in "cd c:\dumps" windows just says Windows cannot find "cd". I tried opening the application and a DOS screen flashes open for a milisec and that's all.

hmm, as long as the dumps folder exists, doing cd c:\dumps should work though that cannot find "cd" message is weird.

only thing i can think off is you've maybe entered the quote as well - if so then try again with just cd c:\dumps

ok, i think i've worked out what you're doing. you have to enter that command in the command window and not in the 'run' dialog - that is the only way i can replicate that message.

everything from cd c:\dumps onwards needs to be done in the command window which should have opened when doing the

Then do Windows Key + R and enter cmd.exe which should open a command-line window.

there's nothing attached. make sure you don't preview the post after uploading it as that is known to loose the upload (is a forum software bug).

rename Winamp\Plugins\ml_disc.dll to disable_ml_disc.dll and try again.

the crash dump indicates the plug-in is trying to get some information from drive 'E:' though it's crashing deep within the OS when it's signalling a close of accessing the information which implies there's something about your driver & /or drivers on the machine which are not working well. from where it crashes in our code (ml_disc), there's nothing obvious i can see to explain the reason or from having a quick re-look though the OS API documentation on it.

i'll have to have a look through things a bit more, though if you don't need to rip / burn CD's then you're unlikely to miss not having that plug-in present (which would need to be remembered to un-check that plug-in on any newer Winamp releases to come out).
