PlayerPro 3.0 - Example of a great Android player

Sorry for the spam-like thread, but Winamp could learn so much from this...

Version 3 of PlayerPro was released yesterday, I helped a bit with some beta testing and I have to say; if the app was good before, now it's even better. IMO, is the closest you can get to a Winamp experience on Android (except for the SHOUTcast part.. which I don't use).


I would really love if WAFA implements some of these features:

The new Favorites section
Anything can be pinned there, songs, albums, artists, playlists.





Artist's mini-page
Beautiful and useful.




Integrated Playlist
Simple yet complete and useful. Swipe up song name and you reveal the Playlist.




Then, you can MULTI-SELECT and do anything with it (as in other parts of the player):




Plus, a lot of things I've mentioned in other threads:
- Easy PL handling: Swiping right unwanted songs. Re-arrange through the left grabber.
- On the fly build of Playlist
- Artists browsing with pictures (mandatory nowadays)
- Specific search button related to each Browser (General search - Albums search - Artists search - etc)
- Etc..

This Player / update shows how much media playing has evolved last years, there are others like it too, like Neutron, but I hope Winamp for Android is up for the challenge when it's "back on the tracks"...
