BPM, does winamp use it? where to get it?
i see this tag, BPM, for beats per minute, in winamp. i guess DJ software and itunes use it.
my question is does winamp use it at all? i was thinking maybe for the vis stuff. and what is the best way to get the tags? i saw these: http://www.mixmeister.com/bpmanalyzer/bpmanalyzer.asp http://www.pistonsoft.com/bpm-detector.html http://www.bpmdetection.com/ but i wanted to know what others thought? also, any suggestions for doing this in FLAC? what is the name of that field? just BPM? Winamp doesn't use BPM for anything and just allows for it to be managed. and seems that the norm is BPM for the flac tag name (based on a quick search).
