.zip to .wsz help
Hi! I've tried from many ways to change my skin from .zip to .wsz, but I just can't. I'm using WinZip. I saw someone with the same problem without answer. If anybody know how to, PLEASE TELL ME HOW. Thanks. ////////// COMBATA LA MISERIA, MATE UN GAMIN Y RECLAME UN CHEQUE.

Um.. change the file extension in your .zip to .wsz ...
Here's how to do it: Right click on your zip file, then scroll down the list and select "Rename"... erase the '.zip' part, and type it '.wsz'. Then press enter. Move the file into your skins directory, and you're done. |

OK, the problem is that it only apears the file name, but not the extension file. It's like this: "la madre", instead of "la madre.zip".
That's why I can´t change my .zip file into .wsz file. I don't know if this matter, but I have WinZip 8.0, it's some problem with my WZ version, or it's me? |

You can't have any spaces in the name of your skin, unfortunately. Replace it with an underscore.

Ok i posted this in another thread...
this is for people that dont wanna mess with showing file extensions..... If you use winzip (not sure about others) Select all the files that make up your skin, right click and go to add to zip, then name the zip file like this skinname.ws (winzip doesnt like extensions that end in z) then rename it to skinname.wsz unless explorer recognises a file extension .ws it saves messing with folder options etc.. |
