i have Shoutcast Server v2.6.0.753/win64 running on my machine i pointed my domain at my server here i keep at home and wanted to know where can i find the index.html file on the server so i can modify it or look in the directory. I looked for a few hours but could not find it. Also i want to know is there a robots.txt file on the web server for shoutcast so i can modify that as well i put site ownership in my domain txt file but google says there is a robots.txt file that won't index the server currently. I don't know where it is located. thanks in advance for a response to both questions.

in order to update the robots.txt file i found you create a robots.txt file in the shoutcast directory that says
user-agent:* allow:/ then in the sc_serv file you type in ( robotstxtfile=robots.txt ) then that will update the localhost/robots.txt that your shoutcast server makes example code: hope this help anyone who might be looking for the same information in the future. |
