Switch to register file types with winamp?

Hi, all.

I'm making an unattended windows xp installation, and of course winamp is being set as the standard music player.

Since I want Winamp with a couple of plugins, I decided to go the quick and dirty route and make a "perfect" winamp install and basically copy this into a self-extracting winrar package, of course putting some configuration files into %UserProfile%\Application Data\Winamp.

So remains the task of registering file types. Some research revealed an old trick of running
Winamp.exe with the switch /REG=ACDL, which automagically would register file types. Supposedly.

It didn't!

_Does_ such a switch exist at all nowadays? In that case, what is the syntax? Will it work just to run winamp normally once? Of course, the configuration file tells exactly which files to be considered winamp files.

I'd rather not go through the hassle of piling up registry entries, so hoping for a simple solution.

/REG=ACDL is for winamp.exe, not the installer

to register everything (audio video cd needreg dircontextmenus playLists)

winamp.exe /REG=AVCNDL

As far as I know, the only switch for the installer is /S (silent install)
