When running the new 2.6 build it says at least that my authhash is correct. However the ID for YP is displayed as 0 and ads won't work.

So if I use the new Authhash in 2.5.5 , it lists my station OK, gives me an I.D. but lists my Genre as Easy Listening. Should I continue to use my old Auth Hash? Will this affect Monetization on what Authhash I use?

Questions about Authhash, premium subscriptions and anything containing/requiring personal information need to be dealt with via support (either the support@ email address or help.shoutcast.com), not the forums.

to this day the ssl does not work, I have the version 2.6.0 Build 747, I even edited the cacert.pem with my valid certificate but it still does not work

The documentation needs updating.....

Add to sc_serv.conf

sslCertificateFile=ssl.crt
sslCertificateKeyFile=key.pem/.key

(obviously needs to refer to the correct crt/key filenames)

I'm going to make this simple.. out of all the things they should NOT make a premium feature is my ability to stream on my own servers with my own bandwidth at a setting I want.

This will end my time with Shoutcast and Winamp. I will wipe my hands clean after almost 20 years and walk away once and for all. I already set up two Icecast servers and have them both up and running on two separate boxes. I have five more to convert tonight and will have them all set up and ready to go. Then I will keep running 2.5 until they cut it off. You force me to cut my bandwidth then you have forced me to stop using and promoting your software and your player. It's not as if you are leaving me with a choice. Your YP is the only thing I use and I don't even get listeners from your site or operations. Never have.

I sure they didn't go through all this hard work to stab the broadcasters that have carried this software for all these years in the back like this. If they did ... bye bye.

I have two stations I am trying to stream.

One is working on the dnas as it was set up on the old rmo but I cannot get the second stream to work on dnas which was set up on new rmo. Could someone look at my code and tell me where I am going wrong, please?

I have searched so many forums but cannot find any answers. Authhash deleted for security. First stream has old 20 characters and second has new 32 characters.

Thanks to the shenanigans of DNAS 2.6, I too have now migrated over to a ‘cooler’ alternative.

I am, and would like to continue using Winamp as my stream(s) source. But, my Win 2008 R2 server does not have a sound card, which means I cannot simply move over to Edcast DSP since it doesn’t seem to work with the N.O.P. plugin.

I have tried a few other Icecast DSPs and Windows Virtual Audio Drivers to workaround the problem, with little success.

Currently, I am using the Shoutcast DSP which works with N.O.P. and the backward-compatible server. However, this config comes with restrictions.

Does anyone know of a better way to overcome this minor issue?

I will be saying goodbye to Shoutcast in due course.

Yep everybody allowed that , but calling shoutcast something for dummies is rude and if he had posted a line like " i think that "in that case he got away with it.
In this case this person forgets that Shoutcast has been here for years allowing everybody a means to stream audio.
And his attitude towards those that gave us this software for free isn't very nice at all.

That is merely your opinion, with no foundation in the Forum rules.
"rant, vent, spew" does not mean users are allowed to post anything they want, even if they claim it is only an opinion.
It sounds as if you believe that it is OK to make some rude comment like "my opinion is that <username> is a low-life idiotic moron" if it is posted in the Bitchlist!

Also, the Forum rules make no distinction between sub-forums.
Unacceptable posts should not become acceptable merely because of a change in location.

Try virtual audio cables and Sound Empire Caster ..which supports DSPs. I'm using it on my radio and you wouldn't believe the audio quality I've got.

But i´m on Centova Cast and have v2.6.0 on my server with message:
"WARN [Licence sid=2] Format is not MP3, where only MP3 is allowed"

Yes, new stations have got a major problem getting a working Authhash.

Apologies for all the confusion and inconvenience!

This how I know you guys don't test anything you say. We can't create new radio stations in the OLD RMO, it redirects to the NEW RMO. This leaves those of us who are trying to create a new station with 2.5 in the dark. I'm currently stuck until my host decides its time to upgrade to 2.6.

After automatic migration to new RMO, I see no stats for December, have 2 active stations streaming on Shoutcast under same login.

Subscribed to Shoutcast software premium ( we host the streaming) to get the stats.

Updated DNAS for 2.6.0 and copied the userid & licenceid into the sc_serv.config file as per instructions and the see this message Stream is currently up but is waiting on a Directory response.

Switched back to DNAS 2.5.5, cleared the Authhash that was generated through old RMO and saved it again for one of the stations. Got the live stats working , but still no stats for December 2018. I can see stats for November and previous months.

Did the above process for the other station but still shows 0 listeners with no live stats and no stats for December 2018.

Have sent email to support but no reponse.

Any suggestions.

I created an account from the link as directed. I validated my account and got a confirmation email. When i try to setup radiomanager, it redirects me to radiomanager.shoutcast.com but not matter what I do, it won't accept my login. Says bad username/password even though i just confirmed it.

I see others have this issue, is there a workaround? Or is it just broke and keep trying until one day I can login?
