if you store a playlist in the priority folder then it will be moved to the archive folder once it's been processed - that's how any playlist in the priority folder will be treated.

you basically need to setup any paths to the playlist(s) be it for a main playlist or for a calendar event to not be in what is specified for 'playlists'.

alright, commented out the priority config.
but it just appears that mp3 file just keep playing next song after 2 seconds, any reason why-? made sure the bitrate is same as the config i applied.

i have absolutely no idea as i don't know what your playlist is setup to do or if this is the main playlist or a calendar based playlist you're referring to.

after re-reading your posts, i've a feeling what is happening is sc_trans is querying the playlist, getting the first result from the wildcard and just using that i.e. it basically ignores the rest of the results and due to that it then trys the playlist again and keeps going like that.

the simple option is to ensure all of the mp3 are pre-listed in the playlist as if it is what i think then it's going to require a bit more work to resolve it based on what i'd started looking into on a similar issue relating to the scripts in playlists support a few weeks back.

the unlock code is irrelevant in this situation and if that wasn't right then you would know about it very quickly.

what you're seeing is correct. sc_trans loads the playlist, then play item 1 and then item 2, then when it's gotten to item 2, it reloads the playlist and will then play item 1 and then item 2 and so on.

the only thing i'm not sure about is why it only takes 1-2 seconds to process the files and all i can suggest for that is to make sure the audio files are valid and are longer than that. if they are then you're probably going to have to send me copies of them so i can try to determine what is going on.

i actually said i would try to do it then but as other things of more importance have happened (affecting 100s of stations) i've not been able to look into it until this afternoon. so i understand your frustration and annoyance but sometimes things are out of my control.

based on using your config file, if i make sure there is the following then it will start the endpoint running (and with my internal build it'll just do it as long as outprotocol=x is specified):
Quote:
; change x to 1 or 3 for the DNAS version being used
outprotocol=x
serverport=<use value of portbase>
serverip=<address of dnas or use 127.0.0.1 if on local machine>
it should be attempting to work with the details already in your config file based on default values for the DNAS address (i.e. a v1 DNAS on 127.0.0.1:8000) but it's not being correctly recognised as a configured stream and i will need to change how the config loading is handled to make that possible.

i probably should have noticed that there wasn't any attempts to connect to a DNAS (which is why the files are played through so quickly as it doesn't need to stay in sync with the broadcast). but doing the above config changes should get it working and that just adds a few more things to the todo list...

thanks and sorry for my impatience, you are busy yourself with other priority issues.

the stream works now so its good. Although i got new issue.
Im using DNAS(6146) and transcoder(6145) using different screens, its working but its not showing the track songs instead it just shows constantly

serverport in the sc_trans config should be set as 6146 if that is the port the DNAS is running on.
