playlist items number

Is there a way to limit the number of items a smartlist has, i have my Most Played smartlist and i want it to be limited to 100 items or songs, is there a way to accomplish this?
i can not figure it out when I look into the smartlist properties..

correct, it's something which has been on the wishlist for years now (being on the wishlist never guarantees anything will be natively implemented).
