Song Info not appearing at bottom of screen
Hello,
On my new computer running Windows 7, and my old one running XP, since winamp 5.572 was released (not the build that just came out, but I'm running that one now), the song info bubble in the bottom right corner of the screen appears usually only one time when i run winamp and the song changes. Every song change after that, no bubble appears. I would like to know how to fix this for my WIN7 PC, and I've tried reinstalling multiple times, as well as going back to older versions, and the problem remains. |

Take a look at the attachments. They show, where you can find the options for Modern Skin and Bento.
For Classic skins you need a plug-in like toaster. I've tried this before, I have Big Bento as a skin. The box is checked to show always. The info appears on the first song change, but every change after that, it never shows up.

Does the issue occur when using the Next Previous multimedia keys on your keyboard? If so, then it is a known issue.

A nice "workaround" option ...
A real nice plug-in that I use is Toaster 0.7.8 by Shane Hird. The configuration home screen could use a little work.... but it is packed with a whole bunch of features.
To use follow the link above and install plug-in.... ...and do not forget to turn off the Winamp's default Notification OSD. (You know the one that you just finished turning ON! ![]() FYI, I am running Windows 7 Ultimate both flavors, 32 & 64 bit versions, and I have yet had any trouble with any plugins or Winamp itself. (I am running the latest version of Winamp.) Hope this helps... Cheers! Inspiration A momentary sensation of stupidity!!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The ORIGINAL Spirit Wolfe |
