How to create a plugin that sends the path of opened media file to my application?

hi everyone,

I wrote an application(in c#) that needs to be opened when km or winamp player either starts showing a movie, I searched some and arrived to create a plugin for them, but I don't know c(c++) much and how can I do this.
The simplest thing that I want is opening my application and sending the path of currently playing item to that when the km or winamp starts plying!
Anyone can help or shows some sample code to me?
