Is there a way to enlarge the main window?

Hello,

I'm on a 3840x2160 resolution and the main window is minuscule while the other winamp windows are OK.

Is there a way to enlarge the main window? I looked around but I couldn't find an option to enlarge it.

Use a bigger skin such as Big Bento Modern.

Hi this is problem with windows 10 scaling.

You can ez fix this.

1. right click winamp and go propertis.
2. 3 tab compatybility mode
3. [admin right] Change setting for all user.
4. in that window click "change setting high resolution DPI"
5. in new windows change from Aplication to System. (botom windows)
6. Appy and ok then restart winamp.

Sorry my eng not perfect cheers from Poland. This trick work also for other application like photoshop when scaling is bad in 4k monitor.

Kordian please write if this work for You and Admin can change title that post for "fix bad scaling winamp clasic in 4k monitor. For easy find for other user. Then close this

Sorry, I forgot to check this thread for a while.

Your solution works but every time I run winamp it warns me with this window.

@Kordian Try this:

1 step look registry.


press windows+R
write
regedit
and
enter

Go to Key (left tree).

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers

delete in leyers dir (right side)
c:\program files x86\winamp.exe (right click menu)
restart winamp.

Ahh delete whole line:
with atribut.
c:\program files x86\winamp.exe----------------------------------------->some atribut xxxxxx
right click that line and delete.
