Your dream job

Do you like your job? If not, what kind of job do you wish you had? What would you have to do to obtain your dream job?

If you are a student, what do you want to do when you grow up?

When I was little I always wanted to be an airline server, travel, and live in Florida. I did the travel part

Hugs,
~ Missy

I want to be a Le Mans race car driver. I love driving fast, it's just so much fun. When I was a kid I always played with toy cars and motorcycles.

i'd say all my jobs have been ok, each one better then the last. Any job that lets you work from home is a good dream job which I have

I would like to persue my own goals in the future though. A dream job is where I am the boss.

I would like to work in a chemistry lab all day long, mess around with test-tubes and gas burners, basicly just bungle and still get paid for it.

I love my job but hate most of the dumbasses that I work with. Did I just say work with? Those lazy idiots are too lazy to work on my scale. God, I hate being smart and motivated. The patience to deal with the incompetence around me is staggering.

I know the feeling all too well. I've been working at my current job for over four years now, and I've all but lost my motivation. It has its perks, though. Just like the past few days... since dad and I are carpooling to save gas, I can't leave work until 17:00 even though I get off an hour and a half earlier. So, I go into the equipment manager's office and get the keys to the Water & Sewer department's ATV (one of these)... Apparently, they need it to reach some of the lift stations that their Ford Rangers can't get to. I find it more useful for making tracks in the stockyard.

And every so often, I get to play with one of these. I want to get one for christmas.

Oh, and to answer the original question: I'd love my current job if there just wasn't any bullshit. I mean, how many people can say that they get to play with a 20-ton Tonka toy every day?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAAAAHAHAHAHAROFLSZOMGLOLS

They still tell kids that?

Fucking letters after your name mean Jack shit dude, I have several after mine, you still end up working harder than a French prostitue to earn a living , belive you and me, in fact, the more letters you have, the higher up the corporate ladder you get pushed and the higher you go the more work and responsibility you have.

Somedays I wish I flipped burgers for a living, least you know where you are with that, having to juggle staff, budgets and all kinds of different shit is no fun, some days I hardly get a chance to surf and slack at all !

I'd like to do porn photos...You know, the porn industry would be kinda cool, but I don't think I could do the action videos...Like, with a picture, you can BS whether you're doing anything, or just posing...I can stand there or pose for a picture; That's easy with me...

...or I'd like to open up my own tuner shop for American muscle cars, or be the next Metallica...

I'm a software developer, the job is getting better in recent months because I know more about the system and have fitted in more than before. It would be nice to write some cooler code than I currently do but it's ok. Hoping for a nice pay rise in the new year.

Ideal job would clearly be a real life condom tester with some hot bird I get to bang every day til she faints. Or a fluffer reviewer

@ Jonesy

No shit, the higher up the corporate ladder you get, the harder you have to struggle and the longer hours you have to work.

Everyone thinks being at or near the top is the way to go. I am thinking of moving into some housing project and going on welfare. They are the smart ones - they dont work and live off of taxpayers money. What a life!

I think I'd like to be a lawn chair and suntan oil tester in the bahamas. Maybe I could test some dune buggies and jet skis too, just to be versatile. Of course, I'd need overtime for that.

EDIT: and a company car, a sailboat.... wait a minute!. I turned into a Kennedy.... well forget the plane.... Hmmm... maybe the car isn't such an good idea either ....
