A kid (about 12 I reckon) stole my backpack containing my entire year's lecture notes in a park and got on the back of his friend's bike. Someone noticed and told me. I caught up with them and they dropped my bag and started to cycle away. I followed them on my bike and made them stop. They were completely silent, insolently and as uncooperative as possible, because they knew I couldn't do anything to them due to their age.
I asked them what they hoped to achieve with my bag. No reply. I asked if they were at all sorry. Nothing. I asked if they would do it again if they had the chance. Nothing.
So I told them that they had no future and were a waste of life. They seemed quite hurt by that and I regretted it a bit as I cycled home, but now that I think about it, I don't. They were old enough to realise what they were doing.

I told my ex-fiance's family that I would never forgive him for what he did to me and if he tried to mess with me further, I'd ruin his military career. They were sad about the whole thing, but, understood. And to this day, I've never said his real name outloud, he's always been "shithead".

I've said a lot of things, both at work and in my own personal life that I could probably have dealt with better...

...but I think it would probably be a lie to say that I regret any of it.

Sounds like anyone who admits to this is really just engaging in self-pity for the consequences of their actions. Suck it up B.

Called someone whom I love very very much a fucker and a bastard, if memory serves, and I regretted it the second I said it, but I really did resent him for making me love him at that moment.

It was a fucked up emotion.

Oh, that and telling my mum to "Shut up you fat hag" once.
I hated saying it because it got me in trouble, that and... She's my mum.

But fuck, it sure felt good.

Probably won't now fuck of and no I won't regret that either

said a bit in anger meant some and regretted others. Reviewed a few of the heavire shit in later years and haven't much changed my mind on em.
If it pissed me off it pissed me of and I said what I said for a reason. Don't think a bod should say stuff without a good reason for saying it but if they make a mistake they should stand up and say so.

Apart from that I just try let live - unless some dip weed is genuinely just trying to be an idiot..got one on another forum at the moment playing petty fecking politic semantics or trying to ..fecking dipweed is really starting to piss me off but I haven't spoken in anger ... me's been good - just sarcastic ...

Back on topic I think if you say it you say - it's understanding why you said it that makes the difference I feel is important. It was said for a reason and that reason had meaning at that oint in time. To later regret some thing is a different time and with a different understanding. If you find you were wrong to have reacted in anger, then say so and regret that but if you know that giving that set of circumstances again and you would react the same then simply accept the fact and move on with your life but with the hope you are not again faced with that set of circumstances.

Like Hey? Who really wants that kind of heavy shit? Prefer life well tanned and chilled out meself

Nope. I've not even said something out of anger that I've regretted, unless you count regret as caused by punishment (direct or indirect) for saying it.
