My First

Still a WIP but the only things that are left are the cursors and the resize graphics on the bottom right-hand corners of the windows:

I developed this while making the above:

So, how badly did I botch it up?

Well it's... Blue, looks like you have covered most things... I like how smoother the buttons feel against the extreme blue you have.

There are some small skin features I would change but it's still a good go at it!

I would post my first skin but it seems that the skin search is not working.
EDIT/ Only fancy thing about my first was that I had a perfectly "animated" volume and EQ sliders which would fade from a bright fire truck red to black.

SEX APPEAL UP IN HERE!

Everything is skinned. The only bad thing about this skin (I believe) is that the cursors are really just recolored rip-offs of the default Winamp Classic skin cursors.

Attached (hopefully.)

Feedback please.

Welcome to skin creation...Great first attempt. I like that you paid attention to details, though...I prefer more overall deviation from flat base colours. I think you have covered everything you can. Perhaps, you could extend your work now to some basic gradients for the overall window areas? Give it a try (couldn't hurt now that you have learned quite a bit about skinning...)

Hooray! My skin got reviewed and published on my first try. http://www.winamp.com/skin/details/222600 I am curious as to why I only got a 4.0 on the completeness scale though. I thought I hit everything. Still glad it went through though.
